GENUS : ATYPOPENAEUS


Rostrum short and straight, with 7 to 9 dorsal teeth

Post rostral carina runs almost to posterior border of carapace

Hepatic spine present, epigastric tooth placed usually for back in rostrum

Cervical groove well defined.

Petasma with distolateral projections directed forward, narrowing from base to tip with inner surface deeply concave and with an indentation at tip

In thelycum, anterior plate tongue-like, with rounded anterior and posterior end

Species : Atypopenaeus stenodactylus
